Smoothie that is…. the drinkable, delicious kind…

I subscribe to a lot of food type stuff newsletters and as a result I often receive various recipes right in my mailbox. This can be great when you run out of dinner ideas, or if you have some ingredients and you want a new recipe for them… but for me, I just love to read recipes…. all of them…. to add to my already crowded listings of recipes and to learn “a thing or two”. It’s great!

I love these guys… the recipes are simple, they always give nutritional information, use “in season ingredients” and offer many, many recipes that are really good for you. Here is one that is absolutely delicious!!

Prep and Cook Time:
5 minutesIngredients:
2 tbsp tahini
1 medium size ripe banana
1 cup low fat plain yogurt
1 – 1 1/2 cups pineapple juice
1 medium papaya

Directions: Scoop out meat from papaya with spoon and place in blender with rest of ingredients. Blend until smooth.
Yields 2 – 8 oz glasses
