Friday the 13th Pics from Port Dover

Posted by gottabkd on Monday, May 7, 2007

Here are some pictures from Friday the 13th in Port Dover. Most of these are of custom motorcycles that looked really good or different.

All were taken by me and of course © applies here.

This motorcycle was just plain sweet. Smooth, nice looking, most of the wires were hidden. I love the look of the “whole” rims. Not sure what that would feel like in a heavy cross breeze, but like the look just the same.

This one had a fantastic paint job. It looked like wood panels on the tank and fenders. Upon closer look, it had and anchor for a side stand, question mark for a seat and chain links down the front forks. Very cool. The writing on the back fender says: “In God we Trust”, and “No Fear” written properly while “Vengeance is mine Saith the Lord” is written backwards.

A bike that was raffled off. Tickets were $10 and was in the theme of “Port Dover”.

Another raffle bike. It was worth around 65K and the tickets were $100. Very nice bike!

Oh yes… there were Trikes too! Like this beut and a whole row of them as well.

Some more customs to end with.

and my fav @ $85,000 Img 0294 Yummy.

All-in-all the event was a good one considering the weather was cold. Can’t wait for the one in July. Should be much warmer and the crowd more on the people watching side. I received the inside scoop for July and will write about it in June.

I saw the one painted like wood at the BAD ride, fully custom including the frame. The engine on it is a Yamaha engine!
    Sweet ride.

    Hey Psycho,
    Great to hear from you.
Yes that bike has been “around”, pardon the pun, for awhile. It is so well painted and catches the eye.
Will you go down this July 13th? It’s always a good ride and not too far away for a day trip. It looks like it will be a big deal as they are expecting a great number of riders.
    Should be good!
Thanks for stopping by and don’t be shy OK?
