I Can Cook: Delicious Pasta Salad.

That’s right, I can…. but actually, more than being labeled a cook, I like to call myself a tosser-together-of-fine-flavours type of cook. As we all know flavour is the most important element when making a dish and the right combinations of those flavours can make you a fine cook or a let-down-chef.

I often sit around and wonder if this flavour would taste good with that flavour and then I will just toss it all together to find out. Sometimes it’s a miss but often it’s a hit, at least to me and that’s when I say to myself “Man I’m a good cook!”

So I was doing that the other day, sitting there wondering what I was gonna make that would satisfy the cravings I had. Usually it’s for some kinda past thingy and that day was no different.
So off to the cupboards I went, you see a well stocked pantry always allows you to toss something together, and this is what I came up with:

Doesn’t it look yummy! I may not be the best food photographer, but this dish really was good… and easy to assemble… honestly! The following recipe makes it so….

Motorcycle Porn – Port Dover Pics.

If you haven’t guessed by now, I am really into motorcycling…. No I am not the classic biker_____ (fill in the blank) but I do love the ride.

I went to Port Dover on Friday July 13th and let me tell you…. wow… the crowds, the amount of people, the bikes, the *cough* fashion and the fun! Awesome…. It was so much fuller than April 13th 2007 as people from everywhere came to infest this tiny town… Wall-to-wall people and bikes!

We arrived shortly after noon time and the crowd was impossible. I took this pic from the back of the bike I arrived on. It’s kinda cool to have the drivers helmet in the shot, but we realized later this was only a small portion of the crowd. I am still waiting for photos the driver took, but whatever :>)

It’s Finally Here! Friday the 13th!

As Friday the 13th arrives many, motorcyclists are prepping for the trip to Port Dover for a day of Sun and Fun… On the menu… lot’s of people, motorcycles, bands, leather, beer tents, camping and just plain getting to know others.
